She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Waddell and Virginia Waddell; her husband Joseph Gilles LaFaille; and her son Paul Joseph "P. J.". She is survived by : her sister Helen Jeanes (Gary Jeanes); her siblings-in-law, Donald Sams and Beth Waddell; her niece Brenda Sams Cason; her children, Lynda Childress (Chris), Ray LaFaille (Kelly) and Mary Lynn Reuter (Jack); her daughter-in-law Sally LaFaille; her grandchildren, Mackenzie LaFaille, Quintin Childress, Jamie Valencour, Austin LaFaille (Sarah), Merrick McKeig (Kellee), Meghan Finnie (Tyler), Joseph LaFaille (Saya), Jessica Taylor (Micah), Gill LaFaille (Meredith), Carolina LaFaille, Savannah LaFaille, Brooke Carver, John Reuter (Cindy) and Kimberly Reuter; her great grandchildren, Grayson, Rowan, Jackson, Gannon, Alayna, Coen, Grace, Avery, Rowyn, Matt, Ashley, Hailey, Caitlin, Chris and Carly; and her siblings, Wanda Sams, Charles Waddell (Judy) and Donald Waddell.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation in LaVerna's memory.
