He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Evelon and Cora May Murdock (Jensen); his former wife Lois Jean Carpenter Murdock; his son Randy Murdock; and his siblings, Orison Murdock and Fae Sherwood.
He is survived by: his son Stephen; his former wife Carol Sue Graeff; his daughter Catherine; his grandchildren, Ray, Ronald and Alva Jr.; his wife Mildred Reed of Bella Vista, Arkansas; his children, Steve, Jaqui Murdock of Lamoni, Cathi Murdock of Phoenix, Ray, Donna Murdock of Gilbert, Ron Murdock of Mesa and Alva Murdock of Missoula, Montana; and his sisters, Matie Jorgensen of Tucson and June King of Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
