He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edgar and Doris Byrdie Jeanes (Wiley); his brother Jack Jeanes; his wife Helen Jeanes; his siblings-in-law, David Smith, Merlin Matteson, Donald Sams, Gill LaFaille and Beth Waddell; his nephew Paul LaFaille; and his niece Brenda Cason.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Douglas "Doug" Jeanes (Laura) of Lamoni and Denise K. Jennings (Chuck) of Bethany, Missouri; his grandchildren, Bill Jennings (Kaley), Tyler Jeanes (Hanna) and Tiffany Magstadt (Drew); his siblings, Donna Smith, Ann Matteson and Casey Jeanes (Maurita); his siblings-in-law, Don Waddell, Charles Waddell (Judy), Wanda Sams and Laverna LaFaille; and also, Kambri and Myla Rae Jeanes. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Decatur County Fair Board in Gary's memory.
