We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 98, Hazel Mae Christensen of Leon, Iowa, born in Decatur, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Austin and Marietta Mae Rumley (Lillie); her husband Don; her daughter Sharon Tyler; her great grandchild Chase; and her siblings, Austin Rumley, Lester Rumley and Ruby Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Dean, Phyllis Mae, Dennis Dean, Marcia Christensen of St. Joseph, Herman Williams of Decatur and Kathy Christensen of Leon. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; five great, great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to Calvary Baptist Church in Hazel's memory.
