He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Lesan and Mabel Lesan; his former wife Betty; his brother Robert (Lorraine Lesan); his brother-in-law Park Rinehart; his grandson Timothy Lee Wilson; and his great grandchild Kaleb Retherford.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Yvonne Brooks; his children, Troy Lesan (Shirley), Wendy Wilson (Jim), Terry Brooks (Jill), Brian Brooks (Linda), Bret Lesan (Marcia), Kelly Brooks Robison, Greg Brooks (Wendy), Brent Brooks (Suzi) and Brett Brooks (Cheri); and his sister Joan Rinehart. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great, great grandchild.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leon, Iowa Fire Department, Decatur County Hospital in Leon, or Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton, Iowa.
