He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Rick White), David (Dawna Rhodes), Anna (Roger Cook), Jeff (Arianne Rhodes) and Tammy Shimer of Humeston; his grandchildren, Amanda Shimer, Kevin Shimer, Shawn Shimer, Elizabeth Shimer, Kyle Rhodes, BreAnn Rhodes, Rebecca Henrichs, James Rhodes, Katelyn Rhodes and William Cook; and his sister Barbara Rhodes of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
