It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Edward Shanstrom of Libertyville, Iowa, born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on March 3, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his daughter Barbie; and his mother Shirley. He is survived by : his former life partner Janine Stever; his daughter Amanda Day (Eric Parker) of Batavia; and his grandsons, Alex Hudson and Owen Day. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Libertyville Fire Department and mailed to Amanda Day, 1242 182nd Street, Batavia, Iowa 52533.
