It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Allen Rippey of Libertyville, Iowa, born in Keosauqua, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wayne Rippey and Helen Rippey (Williams); his mother-in-law Cora Ruth Cubbage; his brother James; his parents-in-law, Robert and Betty Cubbage; and his son-in-law James Mrogenski.

He is survived by : his significant other Ruth; his daughters, Robyn Rippey of Libertyville and Renea Rippey of Fairfield; his granddaughters, Jessica Barnett (Jacob Dunn) and Cortney Barnett; his great grandchildren, Allison and Colton Dunn; and his siblings, Betty Vealey (Elliott) of Fairfield, Barb Pilcher (Gordon) of Fairfield and Larry Rippey (Cindy) of Fairfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Faith United Methodist Church (304 E Maple Ave, Libertyville, IA 52567).
