He is survived by: his former wife Janet Topness of Lanesboro; his children, Jerry Nagel (Deb) of Cresco, Cindy Mayfield (Mike) of Cresco and Tammy Harvey of Ridgeway; his grandchildren, Joey Dietzenbach (Mckenzie) of Cresco, Sami Rinnels (Robert) of Cresco, Chance Rodenz of Lime Springs, Jett Rodenz (Cheyenne) of Ridgeway and John Kilcoyne (Emily) of Ankeny; his great grandchildren, Leah Rinnels, Kaylee Rinnels, Rowen Rodenz and Franklin Kilcoyne; his brother George Nagel (Diane) of Stewartville; and his sister-in-law Leona Nagel of Spring Valley.
