It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Lidtke (Lime Springs, Iowa), who passed away on March 25, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgar Speer and Agnes Speer; her brother Victor; and her sisters-in-law, Katherine Speer and Mayvis Speer.
She is survived by: her husband Roy of Lime Springs, IA; her daughters, Janine Knapp (Paul) of Hudson, IA, Dawn Osmundson (Derwin) of West Union, IA and Ruth Ann Sacquitne (John) of Decorah, IA.; her grandchildren, James Knapp (Kathryn), Jennifer Knapp Severson (Joshua), Dacia Osmundson (Jason Tague), Daniel Osmundson (Krista) and Sonja Sacquitne; her great grandchildren, Theodore, Ann Knapp, Fletcher, Sloan, Bergen Severson, Greysen Caya and Emerlyn Osmundson; and her brothers, Kenneth Speer, Virgil Speer (Mary) of LeRoy, MN and Dale Speer of Elgin, MN. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be directed to the Lime Springs Lidtke Mill National Historical Site to purchase a park bench.
