Nita Veenendaal Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nita Veenendaal (Lisbon, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 65. She is survived by: her husband Marv Veenendaal; her sons, Michael Veenendaal (Stefany Veenendaal) and Jody Veenendaal; her granddaughters, Tessa O'Gorman and Kaia O'Gorman; and her siblings, Denise Conner-Mineart, DeAnn Dalrymple and Doug Dalrymple.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the TIN Roof Hideaway & Event Center (1003 N Washington St, Lisbon, IA 52253).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Nita's honor.
