He is survived by: his children, LaVonne Shearer (Bill) and Gene Beckner (Kris) of Logan; and his grandchildren, Melinda Ruppert (Kyle) of Pender, NE, Rebecca Quackenbush (Josh) of Omaha, NE, Eric Beckner (Samantha) of Missouri Valley, IA, Cameron Beckner (Kristina) of Missouri Valley, IA and Morgan Beckner (Kendra) of Logan, IA. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and nephews and many friends and other relatives.
