He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Everett Jack and Mary Catherine Lively (Crisp); his wife Carol Ann Fitgerald; his daughter Michelle Cheney (Tom) of Deep River; his grandchildren, Adam, Alex and Abby; his daughter Melissa Lively (Chris Neve) of Coralville; his grandson Brian; his sons, Michael Lively of Denver and Matthew Lively (Rachel Simons) of New Bern; his brother Daniel Lively; and his brother-in-law Mark Smith.
