Les W. Schaapveld Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Les W. Schaapveld (Lone Tree, Iowa), who passed away on October 6, 2019 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Les W. Schaapveld to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Schaapveld and Wilma Schaapveld (Maher); his stepfather Ed Nelson; and his brother Daniel Schaapveld. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Pool; his children, Brett Schaapveld (Liz) of Nichols, Tony Schaapveld of Lone Tree, Ben Schaapveld (Julie) of Iowa City, Ryan Schaapveld (Rachel) of Lone Tree and Samantha Schaapveld of Kalona; his brothers, Gary Schaapveld (Helen) of North Liberty, Warren Schaapveld (Ann) of Iowa City and Lonny Schaapveld (Nancy) of West Liberty; and his sister-in-law Karen Schaapveld of North Liberty. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lone Tree Fire and Rescue in memory of Les.
