He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Chris Green; his children, Christopher Green (Jenny) of McKinney, TX, Emily Ruiz (J. B.), Eldridge and Gabriella Green; his grandchildren, Addyson, Emma, Aubree Green, Jackson, Jameson and Eleanor Ruiz; his mother Phyllis Green of Cedar Falls, IA; his siblings, Bill Green of Ossian, IA, Fred Green (Robyn), Joe Green (Trina) and Pat Beck (Louis); his great-niece Isabel Green; his father Ted Green; his nephew Joe Green, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Green and John VanMaanen. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ann's Church, Long Grove Fire Department, or Gateway Redevelopment Group.
