It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice C. Lasack of Lost Nation, Iowa, born in Grand Mound, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Green and Pearl Green (Bousselot); her former husband Henry Keitel; her husband Charles Lasack; her sons, Steve and John; her siblings, Raymond, Arthur, Robert, Paul, Hubert, Vincent Green and Gertrude Miller; and her daughter-in-law Margaret Keitel.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Keitel of Iowa City, Ron Keitel (Pat) of Maquoketa, Mary Keitel (Ray Wood) of Omaha, Nancy Rutenbeck (Steve) of Lost Nation, Sue Knight (Matthew) of Morton, Paul Keitel (Terri) of DeWitt, Cathy Denard of Cedar Rapids, Joe Keitel (Connie) of Muscatine and Jim Keitel (Gina) of Lost Nation; her daughters-in-law, Jane Keitel of Oxford and Mary Lou Keitel of Davenport; her sister Lu Pickarts of Colorado Springs; and her sibling's child KiKi Schmidt of Los Angeles. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the American Heart Association, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Lost Nation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her honor.
