It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Clapp of Lost Nation, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on December 8, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mohl and Marie Mohl (Smith); her sister Cheryl; and her grandchildren, Brian Clapp, Amanda and Angela Richardson.
She is survived by: her children, John Clapp (Sally) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Sue Kuhl (Roger) of Rio Verde, Arizona, Julie Richardson (Mark) of Clinton, Iowa and Kathy Snyder (Kirk) of Lost Nation; her grandchildren, Tracy Clapp, Jason Clapp (Jessica Bell), Stacia Haro (Luis), Adam Richardson, Nick Richardson, Katie Boots (Bryan) and Chris Snyder (Danelle); her great grandchildren, Michael Clapp (Mary), Lauren Clapp, Anabelle, Charlotte Copeland, Natily, Eli Haro, Aiden Skiff, Mason Lebeck, Cole, Sage Snyder, Brody and McCoy Boots; her great great grandchild Tristan Clapp; and her brother Gary Mohl (Alice) of Maquoketa. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Lost Nation Rustic Park or to Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Lost Nation.
