He is survived by: his wife Sandra Techau of Lost Nation, IA; his sons, Jess Fields (Kathy) of Washington, IA, Douglas Fields (Peg) of Pointblank, TX and Andrew Fields (Carol) of Solon, IA; and his siblings, Allen Fields (Sue) of Davenport, IA, Karen Griffin (Roger) of Sugar Grove, IL and Sondra Cantrell of Lisbon, IA..
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Lost Nation Food Bank or the Smithtown Cemetery Association.
