She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Smith and Irene Smith (Scanlon); her husband Marvin H. "Mike" Nielsen; and her son Mitchell Dean. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Doris (Wayne) of Low Moor; and her pet Piper.
