He was predeceased by: his parents, Heiko Everts and Tillie Everts (Schwartz); his wife Marjorie (Mozena); his sister Mary Lou McKinney (Glen); and his sisters-in-law, Gloria Mozena (Dick) and Mary Mozena.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jo Everts-Lundberg (Dan) of Fort Dodge, IA and Janet Noth (Chris) of Davenport, IA; his grandchildren, Matthew Fevold (Eva) of Gowrie, IA and Sarah Jo Reynolds (Adam) of Rockwell City, IA; his stepgrandchildren, Lacy Petersen (Ryan), Kolton, Kaelan, Madison Lundberg and Emily Taft; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Abrie Fevold, Ty, Tillie and Tripp Reynolds; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Saige, Sydney Petersen and Tyler Taft; his sister Phyllis Leitz (Jim) of Lake View, IA; and his brother-in-law Larry Mozena (Claudia) of Urbandale, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
