He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmon Meyer and Elva Meyer (Darling); his parents-in-law, Oliver and Dorothy Albers; and his brothers-in-law, Don Darling, Chuck Farrell and Gene Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Marie Albers of Lytton, IA; his children, Joan Meyer (Reg Waggoner) of Fort Dodge, IA, Alan Meyer (Carol) of Lytton, IA and Nancy Fullerton (Phil) of Lawson, MO; his grandchildren, Nicole Meyer of Lytton, IA and Jamie Waller (Cory) of Lohrville, IA; his great grandchild Kacen Meyer Waller; his sisters, Carole Darling of Owatonna, MN and Marlene Farrell of Des Moines, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Albers (Betty) of Sac City, IA, Ed Albers (Ann) of Sac City, IA and Doris Berry of Sac City, IA.
