He was predeceased by: his parents, John Heldt and Elsie Heldt (Clausen); his former wife Margaret; his siblings, Arnold, Herman and Anna Hillmer; and his brother-in-law Stanley Hillmer.
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Heldt; his children, Peggy Kenyon (Joe), Steve Heldt, Carol Mugge (Brian), Angela Naeve (Russ) and Brian Heldt; and his sister-in-law Arlene Heldt. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
