She was predeceased by: her parents, Harm John and Phoebe Gladys Rickels (Westphal); her husband Gilbert R. "Butch" Milota; her son Randy Ray Milota; her grandson Tyler James Foster; and her siblings, Gladys Keating, John Henry, Howard, Herman and George.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jodi Nowachek (Dean) of Monmouth, IA and Lori Klemm (Brent) of Marion, IA; her grandchildren, Amanda Schinstock (Phil), Becky Koch (Matt) and Allison Foster; her great grandchildren, Emery, Elise and Rozlyn; and her brother Carl Rickels of Monmouth, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
