He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Christian and Cleone Jeanette Jorgensen (Kennard); and his sisters, Sally Jenkins and Nancy Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Jorgensen of Maquoketa, IA; his daughters, Caytie Anderson (Mark) of Minneapolis, MN and Meg Lipetzky (Andrew) of Lake Elmo, MN; his grandchildren, Berit, Dane, Ava, Natasha and Greta; his sister Patricia Fitzgerald (Michael) of Decorah, IA; and his sister-in-law Barbara Holstrom (Jim) of Cresco, IA..
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 4:30 PM at 124 S Main St, Maquoketa, IA 52060. A reception will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County or Prairie Creek Recreation Area.
