It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Myrna Cavanagh of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Myrna Cavanagh to show support.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Emerson and Elnora Emerson (Willert); her spouse Francis Cavanagh; and her siblings, Carol, Donna, Garla, Bonnie and Roland.
She is survived by: her sons, Tom Cavanagh (Janae) of Cedar Rapids and John Cavanagh (Kelly) of Maquoketa; and her niece Jan Hamdorf of Wheatland. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Jackson County or St. Patrick's Catholic Church in her honor.
