It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Thurston of Maquoketa, Iowa, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Thurston and Jennie Thurston (Kenney); his wife Nancy Nylin; his children, Karen McGuire of Keithsburg, IL, Barb Edfors (Jerry) of Clinton, Lorri Cordua (Chris Rush) of Oglesby, IL, Nonie Schaver (Alan) of Clinton, Brenda Greve (Jason) of Clinton, William Nylin (Jane) of Delmar, Keith Nylin (Carol) of Clinton and Kenny Nylin (LeAnn) of Gladstone, IL; and his siblings, Ed Thurston (Doris) of McMinnville, OR, Joyce Thurston and Linda Thurston of Oklahoma. He was also cherished by 52 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
