She was predeceased by: her parents, John Eckelberg and Sophia Eckelberg (Wink); her husband Clarence Medinger; her granddaughter Lori Hoffmann; and her siblings, Ives Eckelberg, Dorothy Engel, Lucille Marlowe and Marcella Seiler.
She is survived by: her daughter Jan; her son-in-law Ardo Schmidt of Preston, IA; her grandsons, Rick Schmidt (Kathy), Kurt Schmidt (Ann) and Bryce Schmidt (Jill); and her grandson-in-law Jeffrey Hoffmann. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
