He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Edwards and Ethel Edwards (Chase); his children, Dena and Drew; his grandson Derek; and his sisters, Jane and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hank; his daughters, Kathy Bollinger (Frank Mitchell) of Maquoketa, Brenda Hayward (Bill) of Maquoketa, Barbie VanAmburg of Maquoketa and Trisha Steines (Brad) of Bellevue; and his siblings, Linda Said of Maquoketa, Nellie Clark of Maquoketa, Joan Manning of Maquoketa, Sandy Edwards (Barb) of Charlotte and Willard Edwards (Rosie) of Maquoketa. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, a great-great grandson.
