She was predeceased by : her parents, Doyle Jarrard and Maxine Jarrard (Darbyshire); her grandparents, William, Wilma Darbyshire, George and Margaret Jarrard; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Jarrard.

She is survived by : her former life partner David Haman; her daughter Caroline Pester (Robert); her grandsons, Matthew Pester (Emily) of Runnells, IA and Andrew Pester of Ames, IA; and her siblings, Gaylen Jarrard (Lynda) of Washington, IA, Keith Jarrard (Melody) of Keswick, IA, Margaret Jarrard of Washington, IA and Joyce Craig (Ragan) of Washington, IA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
