She is survived by: her husband Larry Sylvester of Marion; her sons, Philip Sylvester (Cindy) of Richland and Mark Sylvester of Midway, Iowa; her daughters-in-law, Kim Sylvester of Waukon and Lisa Roth of Oklahoma; her close friend Aaron Krouse of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Teisha Heft (Patrick), Luke Sylvester (Kim), Cody Sylvester (Madison), Jered Sylvester (Kitty) and Tyler Sylvester (Allie); her great grandchildren, Austin (Sarah), Abbigail, Alicia, Lilly, Quenton, Rory, Harper, Kane and Madeline Joy; and her pet Mitzi.
