Betty Jean Carsner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Carsner of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Caraway and Elsie Caraway (Topping); her son Kurt Krog; and her brother Richard Caraway. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Zierath (Greg) of Marion; her daughters-in-law, Janet Graham of Georgia, Gini Pirino of St. Charles and Tamra Krog of Arnold, Missouri; her brother Larry Caraway of Cedar Rapids; and her brother-in-law George Carsner (Virginia) of Iowa City, Iowa.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing. Out of concern of the current pandemic, there will be no public visitation.
