It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Tayek of Marion, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Burrack and Marguerite Burrack (Burke); her parents-in-law, Donald and Marcella Tayek; and her nephews, Jake Tayek and Mike Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Tayek of Marion; her children, Robin Shrope (David) of Marion and Rodney Tayek (Arletta Henry) of Anamosa; her grandchildren, Chad Brown (Kati) of Marion, Whitney Shrope of Marion and Samantha Tayek of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Grant of Marion, Vincent of Marion, Lucas Brown of Marion, Hayden of Marion and Izabella Curtis of Marion; her siblings, Rex Burrack (Marlene) of Marion, Helen Fitzgerald (Fitz) of Gypsum, Colorado, Mary Torres (Fred) of Laguna Vista, Texas and Joan Walke of Guttenberg; her siblings-in-law, Ron Tayek (Gloria) of Farmersburg and Marlys Kaiser (David) of Saskatchewan, Canada; and her friend Beverly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, clients, and friends.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
