She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Petersen and Ruth Petersen (Buck); her husband James; and her siblings-in-law, Don Sedrel, Steven Cope and Judy Cope.
She is survived by: her siblings, Frederick Jr. Petersen (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids and Ruthann Sedrel of Cedar Rapids; her sister-in-law JoAnne Schanbacher (Merlyn) of Newhall; and her nieces and nephews, Amy Niehaus (Phillip) of Martel, Tami Theobald (Doug) of Mt, Holly Thompson (Doug) of Cedar Rapids, Steven Petersen (Tasha) of Lisbon, Tracy Sedrel of Cedar Rapids, Kelly Sedrel of Cedar Rapids, Diana Slaughter (Daniel) of Wausau, Brian Schanbacher (Kristen) of Newhall and Chris Karr (Mike) of Newhall.
