With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Del L. Bear Sr. of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar F. Bear and Ruth Bear (McGuire); his wife Shirley Bear; his son Delmar L. "Butch" Bear, Jr.; and his sisters, Nancy and Sharon.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Hauskins (Kevin) of Marion; his daughter-in-law Teresa Bear of Cedar Rapids; his grandsons, Don Hauskins (Charlotte) of Marion, Jeremy Hauskins (Leslie) of Cedar Rapids and Randy Bear of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchildren, Hana, Jackson, Beckett, Jace, Elliott, Olivia and Bradon; and his brother Donald Bear of Waterloo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Del's memory has been established.
