She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Loomis and Elsie Loomis (Brickman); her husbands, Wayne Smith and Jim Murphy; and her siblings, Fern Hock, Bob Loomis, Gene Loomis, Carol Tammen, Carl Loomis and Evelyn Loomis.
She is survived by: her sons, Dan Smith and Tim Murphy of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Luke, Jamie, Bree Smith and Samantha Murphy; and her sisters, Marge Grimm of Waverly and Dorothy Buhr (Lee) of Oelwein.
