He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Carstens; his daughters, Cheryl Irland (Mark), Joy Lucas (Bill) and Jennifer Flieder; his grandchildren, Ben Irland, Kyle Irland, Andrea Winey (Kyle), Sarah Lucas (Christopher Fernandez), Conrad Lucas, Austin Flieder and Amy Flieder; and his sisters-in-law, Ilene Vorhies (Mahlon) and Peggy Carstens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a beloved therapy dog.
