With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elmer Seale of Marion, Iowa, born in Cleburne, Texas, who passed away on February 7, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer H. Seale Sr. and Linnie Marie Seale; his wife Joyce; his sister Helen Simmons; his parents-in-law, Reuben and Rosabelle Erickson; and his sister-in-law Gladyce Erickson Daarud (Richard).
He is survived by: his children, Rosalyn "Rosie" Hilliard (Don) of Cedar Rapids and Stuart Seale (Sandra) of Anthem, Arizona; his daughter-in-law Kathy Seale of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jonathan Hilliard (Jenee), Levi, Daphne of Vancouver, Washington, Jameson Hilliard (Vivian) and Ethan of Lincoln, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Ryan Seale (Erico) of Glendale, California, Jordan Seale (Leigh Anne), David of Spring and Lauren Seale (Brad Farnham) of Taos; his nephews, R. Scott Daarud (Suzie) and Steven Daarud (Connie); and his niece Cheryl Daarud Boulais (Terry). He is also survived by three grand-nephews and three grand-nieces.
Due to the Covid pandemic, a service will take place in Brainerd later in 2021, when it is safe to gather.
