It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Rudolph Novak of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph J. Novak and Ludmila D. Novak (Andrle); his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Philip Yeisley. He is survived by: his wife Lois Novak of Marion; his children, Bradley E. Novak (Deb) of Marion, Alicia Novak of Marion, Robina S. Ulrich (Tom) of Center Point and Christopher A. Novak (Julie) of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Andrew, Brian Novak, Brent, Alexander Ulrich, Victoria, Katherine and Jackson Novak; his sister Joyce Hay (Robert) of Marion; and his sister-in-law Jaqueline Bohan (Tom). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
All guests are respectfully requested to dress casual, wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gene's family and will be used for those local food pantries and missions.
