Ferne Newlin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ferne Newlin (Marion, Iowa), who passed away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Newlin; her son Bob Newlin; her parents, Bert McNiel and Opal McNiel; and her siblings, Milo McNiel (Mike), Leota McNiel and Grace Reynolds.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Newlin (Tom Johnson) of Greeley, CO and Tami Newlin (Joe Wildeman) of Arvada, CO; her daughter-in-law Shari Newlin of Oxford, IA; her grandchildren, John, Michael, Justin, Corey, Jay, Alexis and Jessi; her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Joshua, Michelle, Kylannah, Nikoli and Lily; and her sister Alice Whitlock.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ferne's name to Hospice Compassus or the Cedar Rapids Chapter of the National MS Society.
