She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Berntsen and Mirriam Berntsen; and her husband Walter Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jean Gehring (Dennis) of Marion, Steve Willson of Keokuk and Christy Willson (Jay) of Marion; her grandchildren, Tamara Byers (John), Corrine Wilson (Chad), Melissa Cannon (Chris), Zach Willson (Amanda), Amanda Spencer (Daniel) and Gracie Modrow (Chris); her siblings, Earl Berntsen of Webster City and Patricia Miller (John) of Marion; and her aunt Bonnie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Francine's memory may be directed to Winslow House or Alzheimer's Association.
