He was predeceased by: his son Thomas; his grandson Joe; and his siblings, Leo, Joseph, Margaret and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Janelle Kay, Susan Mary and Tom; his wife Alma; his children, Julie Mann (Gary) of Lebanon, Jan Smith (Jeff) and Susan Krejci (Tom) of Cedar Rapids; his daughter-in-law Carol McNamara of Marion; his grandchildren, Erin, Craig, Sara, Jessica, Matt, Alison, Mike, Audrey and Sally; his great grandchildren, Ian, Olivia, Devon, Gracie, Julia, Colton, Madison, Seamus, John Paul, Hannah, Austin, Trent, Dylan, Norah, Chloe, Ella, Karrington, Jay, Anna, Caila, Larry and Wyatt; his great great grandchildren, Grayson, Saylor, Cooper and Avery; and his sister Theresa Eden of Atlanta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
