She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Heiserman and Elsie Heiserman (Becker); her husbands, Merle Cox and Richard Hale; her brother Donald Heiserman (Iva); and her granddaughters, Michelle Lynn and Heidi Lynne.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Johnson (Robert) of Omaha, Allen Cox (Barbara) of Anamosa, Duane Cox (Terri) of Marion and D. Scott Hale (Judy) of Tonopah, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Michelle Rasmussen (Chris) of Kansas City, Danielle Lidster (Dwayne) of Goodyear, Steve Johnson (Kris) of Omaha, Luke Johnson (Jennifer) of Omaha, Kip Cox (Jennifer) of Marion, Andrew Johnson (Krista) of Omaha and Matthew Johnson (Jill) of Omaha. She is also survived by three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The church requires all guests to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either Faith Lutheran Church, Cedar Valley Hospice, or to the family.
