With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Marie Sorensen of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on November 2, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Monte; and her siblings, Harold, Lee Steffen, Pat Peacock, Eleanor Frances and Marjorie Ellen.

She is survived by: her children, Christopher Sorensen of Paris, France, Ann Shinkle (Mark) of Orlando and Margaret "Peggy" Foarde (David) of Cedar Rapids; and her sister Jean Bumsted of Burr Ridge, Illinois.. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Iowa State University 4H Foundation.
