It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ione Marie Shrope (Marion, Iowa), born in Center Point, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Bonebrake and Frankie Bonebrake (Neuman); her husband Francis "Nick" Shrope; her daughter Sara Bonnett; her grandson Mark Bonnett; and her siblings, Raymond Bonebrake, Sr., Lela Bonebrake and Maxine Watson.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Stephanie Bonnett-Rawson (Kyle) of Troy Mills; her great grandchildren, Amber Gudenkauf (Nick) of Masonville, Haley Rawson (Wes Johnson) of Coggon and Blake Rawson (Taylor McDonald) of Troy Mills; and her great great grandchildren, Macie Rawson and Aubry Gudenkauf. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ione's memory.
