Ivan Earl Rohde Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ivan Earl Rohde of Marion, Iowa, born in Viola, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mike, Pat Wright and Ida Mae Boom (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Rohde of Marion; his stepdaughter Collette Darden; his niece Deborah Laursen (Bruce); and his nephews, Danny Boom, David Boom, Dana Boom, Dennis Wright and Bruce Wright. He is also survived by three great-nephews and great-nieces.
Due to the pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at 11 a. m. on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, conducted by Deacon Jeff Voelker.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ivan's memory may be made to Parkinson's Research at Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014 in Hagerstown, Maryland, 21741-5014.
