He is survived by: his spouses, Norma Jean Johnson and Norma Jean Carley of Marion; his children, Patrick Carley of Cedar Rapids and Julie Ann Carley (Jim Alberts) of Cedar Rapids; his granddaughter Katherine Williams (Scott) of Chicago, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Lydia, Emmett and Jack. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
