He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald DeFrees and Norma DeFrees (Spicer); and his siblings, Donna Anderson (William) and Jonathan DeFrees. He is survived by: his wife Linda Marie Ridenour (Christophersen); his children, Lisa Osborne (Glen), Jennifer Jansen (Roger), Brian Ridenour (Cherie) and Mark DeFrees; and his sisters, Caroline Beglen and Annette Fults (Gary).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Community Baptist Church of Marion.
