He was predeceased by: his son Dakota "Cody" Cooney. He is survived by: his children, Casey Cooney of Chicago, Kaylin Bohm and Elliot of Center Point; his parents, Noel Cooney and Kumiko Cooney Jr. (Shutto); and his brother Richard Cooney (Tammy) of Kingwood, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
