She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chris and Ellen Christina Johansen (Olson); her husband Garie Duncan; and her brothers, Gary and Tommy Johansen.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Duncan (Billy Kennerly) of Englewood, Colorado and Mark Duncan (Tracy Brooks) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; her granddaughter Haile Duncan; and her sister Karen Fisher of San Jose, California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jean's memory may be made to either First Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids or a favorite charity of the donor's choice.
