It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Simmons (Marion, Iowa), who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Simmons and Pauline Simmons (Patton); his son Kevin; his brothers, Herbert and Marvin Simmons; and his brother-in-law Dale Schwartzhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Bernita; his sons, Kirk Simmons and Kyle Simmons; and his grandson Riley Simmons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
